Frequently Asked Questions
Wedding Flowers FAQs
Can I include my favourite flower in my wedding bouquet and arrangements?
It will depend if your flower is going to be in season around the time of your wedding day. As we are dealing with products of nature, weather conditions have a significant impact on availability of flowers.
For example, peonies are only available for a few weeks in mid-Spring (most often November) but the specific availability often changes from year to year, depending on how cold the winter has been and how wet the early weeks of spring are.

How much do wedding flowers usually cost?
There is a lot of variability when it comes to wedding flower prices. Most of my couples spend between $3000 and $7,000 on their wedding flowers.
I suggest 10-15% of your total wedding budget but if you want florals to be a significant component of the experience for the day, I would recommend allocating closer to 20-25% of your total budget to flowers.
Is there a minimum budget or spend?
I have a $1000 minimum spend for full wedding floral services although most of my couples spend $3000-$7000 on wedding flowers.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I suggest a minimum of 6-12 months but we can easily work within a shorter planning timeframe.
I do recommend paying your 20% deposit as early as possible as I only take a limited number of weddings each week.
After your deposit is paid we can easily sort through changes and revisions to the order details. Nothing needs to be firmly set in stone until 4 weeks prior to your wedding day when the final balance payment is made.
Where are you located?
I’m based in the Sydney’s northern beaches, NSW.
But I design, create and deliver wedding flowers for couples getting married all across Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Southern Highlands.
I live interstate / overseas. Is that a problem?
No, not at all. I manage all of our communications online – if you’re overseas I can easily manage everything over email.
Can you help me personalise my wedding by incorporating an item that has special meaning to my partner and I?
Of course. Depending on what that item is, I can either include that special item with the flowers on your big day or design a floral styling concept based on the item. I find this to be one of the most meaningful ways to personalise one’s wedding as well as make the day unique to you and your partner!
I‘m too overwhelmed by the choices I see on Pinterest / I can’t find anything I like on Pinterest. Can you help?
Sure. We can begin by discussing what your wedding priorities are, the vibe you would like to create, favourite colours, your likes and dislikes, etc. And even if you have one or two inspiration photos on Pinterest (and it doesn’t even have to be flowers), share it with me – it can point us all in the right direction.
How do I get started with the inquiry process?
The first step is to submit an initial enquiry – I will then confirm whether your date is available.
From there, I will send you an online questionnaire as the first phase of our consultation process. Learn more about my process on my Weddings & Events page.
